If you want to explore the coastal road, we suggest you start driving by mid-morning. Visit Malagas (where you’ll cross the Breede River by pont – the last man-drawn pont in Africa) and the Southern tip of Africa at Cape Agulhas (we heartily recommend lunch at the Agulhas Lighthouse restaurant).

The picturesque village of Arniston is a must for lovers of the sea: the endless white beaches are renowned for their rare and beautiful shells and their excellent whale watching. Your overnight destination at Waenhuiskrans/Arniston: is the Arniston Hotel.
